You need to change how you see your CV. Your CV is an advertisement for you. Think about a time you were looking to buy a product for a specific need. Would you prefer to see a generic advertisement covering the full range of benefits or one which is specific to the problem you’re trying to solve? Would you prefer the advertisement to be concise and straight to the point or long winded and detailed? Would you like to have to read the full advertisement to understand what you're buying or would you like a short . . .
